As the 91探花joins the Big Ten, we鈥檙e feeling the excitement
Today, the 91探花 officially takes its place in the Big Ten Conference, and throughout our community of students, coaches, faculty, staff and alumni, the excitement is palpable! It has been a remarkable journey to reach this milestone, and I鈥檓 so grateful for all the hard work, collaboration and leadership that has gone into transitioning the 91探花and Husky Athletics to the highest-profile national stage in college sports.

This Pride Month, I hope we can all take pride in being members of a community that recognizes difference as a strength and welcomes people for who they truly are. Our 91探花community is one that I am deeply proud to be a part of as we continue the work of making the world welcoming and safe for all people.聽
The coming year will be my last as 91探花president
For almost 40 years, the 91探花 has been my home, and our shared mission of education, discovery, healthcare and impact for the public good has been my purpose. Next year, when my second five-year term concludes, I plan to step down from the role of president.

Each May, the nation and our 91探花community are proud to honor National Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month and to recognize the enormous impact and influence of our AANHPI community members here on campus and across the globe.
Resolution to the encampment in the Quad聽
Through serious and constructive conversations, we have reached a resolution that will see the voluntary departure of the encampment in the Quad.
Update on the tent encampment in the Quad
The University鈥檚 response to students鈥� calls for change will not be based on an encampment 鈥� there are many ways for voices to be heard that don鈥檛 require tents, violent rhetoric and vandalism. Change will be through constructive engagement on issues that are important and meaningful to our students and broader campus community.
