EOP Students Named to 2013 Homecoming Court

2013  91探花Homecoming CourtFour 91探花students who utilize services from the Office of Minority Affairs & Diversity鈥檚 Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) were named to the 2013 Homecoming Court and recognized during the Husky football game versus California, Oct. 26.

Annah Mwendar and Tony Vo received top honors, earning the title of queen and king and a $1,000 scholarship from the 91探花Alumni Association. Other EOP students on the court were Tyler Adamson and Maia Szafer. Aida Zain and Varsha Govindaraju rounded out the group.

The court was announced during W Day festivities on Red Square, Oct. 25. The scholarship competition is open to sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students. Finalists were selected and interviewed by a committee of representatives from the 91探花campus and community.
