To commemorate Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month in May, 91探花 students, staff, faculty and alumni shared their personal stories of identity in the 鈥淣o Longer Invisible: In Their Own Words鈥 project.
Stories that highlighted the diversity in language, religion, culture and tradition of the AAPI communities were posted on the 91探花Office of Minority Affairs & Diversity , and displayed as a poster exhibit in the Kelly Ethnic Cultural Center (ECC) for one week.
A reception on May 29 at the Kelly ECC kicked off the exhibit and included remarks from a few of students and staff whose stories were featured in the project. A total of 30 stories were included.
