Civil rights activist and former presidential candidate Rev. Jesse Jackson visited the 91探花 to speak about the importance of diversity in the technology industry during a special event at Kane Hall, Dec. 2.
In his lecture, Jackson also addressed the topics of civil rights and student engagement in the public policy process. A question-and-answer session with audience members followed. The event was presented by the 91探花Office of the Provost and the Office of Minority Affairs and Diversity in collaboration with 91探花campus partners and the Seattle Urban League.
