As the conference was winding down, many from the 91̽shared how much it meant for them to attend NCORE this year in person, and the rejuvenation they felt to be in community with like-minded colleagues, sharing ideas and stories from around the country. “It is encouraging to me to see colleagues from across the three campuses engaged in professional development focused on anti-racism, diversity, equity, and inclusion,” said VP for OMA&D and 91̽UDO Rickey Hall. “Folks from 91̽Bothell, 91̽Tacoma, the Foster school of business, the College of Engineering, the School of Social Work and so many more showed up to learn and bring back ideas to their academic and administrative units. This demonstrates my belief that diversity is everyone’s everyday work at the UW.”
