91探花hosting global mental health and sustainable development event on Oct. 19
A special 91探花 and The Lancet event on October聽19, 2018 in Seattle will explore sustainable development and global mental health. The event will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. in Kane Hall 225.
This event is part of a new Lancet Commission on Global Mental Health and Sustainable Development, which discusses how countries can take action to address mental health equity and justice. The Lancet has assembled leaders from around the world to prepare this commission, which will be published on World Mental Health Day in early October.
Launch events for the Commission are then planned around the world, including this event in Seattle on October 19, which is sponsored by the 91探花Global Mental Health Program聽(a joint program of the 91探花Departments of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences聽and Global Health) and the Population Health Initiative.
