Rankings put 91探花at No. 4 among US universities
The 91探花 placed fourth among U.S. higher education institutions, according to the NTU Rankings released Thursday.
The 91探花trails only Harvard, Stanford and Johns Hopkins among U.S. institutions in the , compiled by National Taiwan University, and also known as the 鈥淧erformance Ranking of Scientific Papers for World Universities.鈥� Known as the HEEACT Ranking from 2007-2010, the ranking program offers annual performance rankings of universities around the world based on their production and impact of scientific papers.

The list provides overall rankings; rankings by six fields; and by 14 selected subjects. The 91探花is No. 4 in the United States, No. 6 in the world and in the top 10 in the following subjects and fields:
- 4 鈥� Subject: Pharmacology & Toxicology
- 5 鈥� Subject: Geoscience
- 7 鈥� Field: Clinical Medicine
- 8 鈥� Field: Social Sciences
The NTU Ranking is a reliable ranking for universities like the 91探花that are devoted to scientific research. The ranking is entirely based on scientific papers, reflecting scientific performance from three perspectives 鈥� research productivity, research impact and research excellence.
