Visionary innovator Shwetak Patel wins MacArthur ‘genius’ award

Shwetak Patel, assistant professor of computer science and engineering and electrical engineering has been named one of this year鈥檚 MacArthur Fellows.

Patel, who explores how people and computers interact, is one of 22 people honored by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.聽 The $500,000 no-strings-attached prizes are often referred to as the 鈥済enius鈥� awards. Read the full article in 91探花Today:
