Who, What, Why – Searching SAM.gov

SAM.gov provides a federal exclusions list which is useful in determining if individuals, vendors, or other entities must be excluded from projects the 91̽»¨engages in. This FAQ helps identify the who, what, and why of searching in SAM.gov.

Verifies:

• Personnel have not been debarred or suspended
• Vendors are not considered a  equipment or services supplier
• Vendors of procurement purchases under $35k are not in the exclusions list 

Procurement

The 91̽»¨Procurement Services Office verifies vendors for purchases over $35k.

The Office of Sponsored Programs

OSP verifies subrecipient entities.
