Background Intellectual Property (BIP)
Any protectable Intellectual Property, including patents, patent applications, software, and proprietary biological materials, that are owned or controlled by 91̽»¨and created or invented separately from or prior to the project’s start date and is required to conduct project activities. Background IP excludes Intellectual Property generated under the new project.
