Sponsors may include restrictions or milestones that must be met soon after the award is received.<\/p>\n<p>Sponsor requirements are found in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The specific funding opportunity<\/li>\n<li>The award terms and conditions<\/li>\n<li>The sponsor\u2019s overarching guidance or policies related to grant funding (e.g. NIH Policy Statement, NSF Proposal &amp; Award Policies &amp; Procedures Guide (PAPPG))<\/li>\n<li>Federal regulations that must be followed by the sponsor and the applicant<\/li>\n<li>Sponsor website<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/research\/osp\/\">Office of Sponsored Programs<\/a> reviews, negotiates, and accepts awards on behalf of the University.
