91探花

The 3Rs Collaborative has created a 3Rs Certification Course. (Refinement, Reduction, Replacement)

The online course is hosted on the CITI Program. There is not a charge/fee for learners registered with a 91探花 email address. (The fee is being covered by UW鈥檚 Office of Animal Welfare.)

If you are writing a protocol, designing experiments and procedures, or performing hands-on work with animals, this is a course strongly encouraged.

There are many other courses related to animal research that are also available.

Users with 91探花NetIDs

91探花uses Single Sign On (SSO) with the CITI Program. Login using your 91探花NetID and password.

If you are logging into 91探花CITI for the first time, your CITI account will be automatically created based on your 91探花NetID credentials.

If you previously created a CITI account, your old CITI account has been automatically merged with your SSO login if possible. This means that when you login using your 91探花NetID and password, you should see your account information from your original CITI registration, including any previously completed courses. If you do not see your previously completed courses, you can still access them by logging in on the using your CITI username and password. To merge 2 existing accounts, email support@citiprogram.org for assistance.

Registration Steps If You Don’t Already Have an Account

1. Click button 鈥淩egister鈥�听 in the upper right corner.
2. Click button 鈥淪elect Your Organization Affiliation鈥�.
3. Click your mouse in the field 鈥淭o find your organization鈥︹��
4. Type 鈥�91探花鈥�.
5. Select first choice 鈥�91探花鈥�.
6. Check box 鈥淚 AGREE to the Terms of Service鈥�.鈥�
7. Check box 鈥淚 affirm that I am an affiliate of 91探花鈥�.
8. Click button that appears 鈥淟ogin with 91探花鈥�.
9. You will see the 91探花Single Sign On (SSO) screen.
10. Enter your 91探花NetID.
11. Enter your 91探花Password.
12. Confirm your login with DUO Authentication.
13. Follow onscreen first time registration steps.
14. You will see 鈥淵our registration into CITI Program has been completed successfully鈥�.

Adding 3Rs Certificate Course

1. On the Select Curriculum (UW) page follow the directions below or click on the button “Add a Course”.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the new screen and check the box 鈥�3Rs Certificate Course鈥�.
3. Click the button 鈥淣ext鈥�.
4. New page will appear the course will be listed in 鈥淐ourses Ready to Begin鈥�.
5. Click the button 鈥淪tart Now鈥�.

You can use the “Add a Course” button by selecting checking boxes to add multiple groupings of courses. 听Select what best works for you.

Steps to Login after Registration to CITI Program

1. Go to (will open in new tab).
2. Click button 鈥淟ogin鈥� in the upper right corner.
3. Click 鈥淟og In Through My Organization鈥�.
4. Find Your Organization field.
5. Type 鈥�91探花鈥�.
6. Click button 鈥淐ontinue to SSO Login / Instructions鈥�.
7. Enter your 91探花NetID.
8. Enter your 91探花Password.
9. Confirm your login with DUO Authentication.

CITI Program Tips

It鈥檚 possible to be registered with more than one Institution Affiliation.

Having multiple institution affiliations may allow you to have access to different groupings of course offerings.

You can have a secondary email addresses such as other another institution you are affiliated with or personal email address.

Click your name in the upper right corner and select 鈥淧rofiles鈥�.

Click button 鈥淓dit Profile鈥� to add secondary email address.

Scroll down to 鈥淚nstitutions Profile鈥� to 鈥淎dd An Affiliation鈥�.
