Napoleon Kaufman played football for the Huskies from 1991 to 1994 and is a member of the 91探花 Hall of Fame. The All-American running back remembers his time at the 91探花fondly as a time of 鈥渁wesome鈥澛燾amaraderie between his teammates and between the team members and聽their coaches.
After graduation from the UW, Napoleon Kaufman was a first-round draft pick of the聽Oakland Raiders and spent 6 years playing聽with the team. He left the NFL in 2001聽to follow his calling to the ministry, and now he is the senior pastor at The Well Christian Community Church in Livermore, California.
He combines his spirituality with his love and dedication to the sport of football聽as the team chaplain for the Oakland Raiders. He is also the聽head coach of a high school football team.
