Meet the team

The Hazing Prevention and Response Team leads efforts across all 91̽»¨ campuses and locations to address hazing. They collaborate with campus partners to raise awareness, prevent hazing behaviors, investigate reports, and ensure the university remains in full compliance with state and federal hazing laws.

Hazing Prevention and Response Specialist

Alex Salemme, M.Ed. 

Alex is the Hazing Prevention and Response Specialist for Community Standards & Student Conduct. He joined the university in October 2023 and earned his B.S. in Middle-Level Education from Winthrop University. He also holds an M.Ed. in Education Administration from the University of South Carolina and an M.Ed. in Learning Design and Technology from Winthrop University. He is an affiliated member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. During his free time, he enjoys traveling, working, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Alex’s pronouns are he/him/his.

Hazing Prevention Support Assistant

Isabella Aceituno 

Isabella (she/her/hers) is the Hazing Prevention Support Assistant. She is currently pursuing an MPH in Health Systems & Population Health at the School of Public Health. Isabella holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she previously worked in health promotion and student support roles and was an active student leader on campus. In her free time, Isabella enjoys reading, catching up on TV shows, and spending time in cozy coffee shops.
