Earl Davie Building
ZymoGenetics, a biotechnology company focused on the discovery and development of protein therapeutics, in September celebrated the naming of its second building in honor of Dr. Earl W. Davie, 91̽»¨professor of biochemistry. The Earl Davie Building is adjacent to ZymoGenetics’ headquarters, located in the historic Seattle Steam Plant on the shores of Lake Union. Davie co-founded ZymoGenetics in 1981 and has maintained an active role in ZymoGenetics as a scientific advisor. In recognition of the contributions made by Dr. Davie to the field of blood coagulation, Novo Nordisk established the Earl Davie Endowed Chair in Biochemistry at the 91̽»¨in 1993.
