The College of Education is accepting reservations for a colloquium designed to help facilitate partnerships between K-12 and the 91̽»¨campus.
Developing Successful K-12 Initiatives will run from 2 to 5 p.m. on March 4 in the Walker-Ames Room, 225 Kane. At the gathering, faculty and staff from across campus will have the opportunity to learn about successful K-12 initiatives, learn about campus resources, discuss with colleagues the benefits of engaging in K-12 initiatives, and explore areas of collaboration with faculty from the College of Education.
91̽»¨President Richard L. McCormick and Bellevue Public Schools Superintendent Mike Riley will attend the meeting, as will College of Education Dean Patricia Wasley, and K-12 teachers and administrators.
Space for the event is limited. Organizers request that teams of two (at least one faculty member) e-mail RSVPs by Feb. 25 to kurtsahl@u.washington.edu.
