HUMANITIES FELLOW: Jordanna Bailkin, assistant professor of history, is one of 41 Fellows of the National Humanities Center for 2003-2004. Fellows will go to the center in the Research Triangle Park of North Carolina to research projects in the humanities and exchange ideas in seminars, lectures, and conferences. Bailkin鈥檚 research project is titled 鈥淢aking Faces: Economies of Color in Imperial Britain.鈥 The center is a privately incorporated independent institute for advanced study in the humanities.
ARCHITECTURAL ALLY: AIA Seattle, a component of the American Institute of Architects, has given the 91探花Press its Allied Organization Award. The award recognizes an organization that has contributed notably to the goals of AIA Seattle.
