The Tall Ships Festival will be held in Tacoma鈥檚 Commencement Bay from June 30 to July 4, and Thad Koza, author, photographer and expert on tall ships, will give a lecture titled Tall Ships: The Fleet for 2005 twice at 91探花locations during that time.
In his program, Koza 鈥� who has sailed on tall ships all over the world 鈥� will highlight the tall ships to be anchored in Tacoma鈥檚 Commencement Bay from June 20-July 6.
The lecture and photography program is presented by 91探花Libraries in partnership with the 91探花Alumni Association with support from the American Sail Training Association.
Koza will present his lecture at two locations:
- 7 p.m. June 14, 220 Odegaard.
- 7 p.m. June 15, 91探花Tacoma Library鈥檚 Snoqualmie Room.
His photography exhibit will be on display from June 1 to July 9 at both locations. Admission to the lectures and photography exhibit is free, but registration for the lectures is required.
