AIDS symposium planned for Oct. 4
The Center for AIDS Research plans a half-day mini-symposium on Tuesday, Oct. 4 focusing on “HIV and Women: The Female Face of the Epidemic.”

Topics will include HIV prevention, issues for women in Africa, and hormonal contraception and HIV. Sessions begin at 8:30 a.m. in room 316 of the South Campus Center.

Videoconference series on traumatic brain injury
A free education series co-sponsored by the Traumatic Brain Injury Model System at the 91̽»¨will be presented by videoconference on the mornings of Oct. 10, 17 and 24 at Harborview Medical Center’s Research and Training Building and other sites statewide.
