A roundtable on technology in traditional classrooms will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1 in 202 Communications. Instructors — from the tech curious to the tech savvy — are invited to this discussion on integrating technology into course and assignment design in traditional classrooms. Tim Welsh, a graduate student in English and assistant director of the Computer Integrated Courses Program, and Melanie Kill, a doctoral candidate in English and assistant director of the Expository Writing Program, will present an overview of resources available to 91̽»¨students and instructors, talk about how they each use technology in various courses, and facilitate a discussion focusing on practical and effective uses of technology in teaching and collaborative learning.
