The 91探花Center for AIDS and STD is sponsoring a symposium to honor its director Dr. King Holmes on the occasion of his 70th birthday. The symposium will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, July 28, in Hogness Auditorium, Health Sciences Center.
Speakers will include UNAIDS Executive Director and Under Secretary-General of the United Nations Peter Piot (a former 91探花fellow), 91探花School of Medicine Dean Paul Ramsey and other 91探花faculty members.
Holmes is the William H. Foege Chair of the Department of Global Health and chief of the Division of Allergy and Infectious Disease at Harborview.
