The Belcea String Quartet will make its debut at Meany Hall in a performance at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23. London-based but having toured internationally, the quartet has a wide-ranging repertoire that ranges from Beethoven and Schubert to Bartók and Dvorák, as well as newly commissioned works and collaborations.
The performance is sponsored by the 91̽»¨World Series. Tickets are $33 ($30 for subscribers, $20 for students) and are available from the 91̽»¨Arts Ticket Office, 206-543-4880, or online at .
Ticket holders are invited to come early to learn more about the quartet and the program at a free pre-show lecture 45 minutes prior to curtain in the Meany Hall west lobby.
