A new video shows a recent project from the 91̽»¨Program on Climate Change to demonstrate the many changes to the Puget Sound region expected because of rising sea level. A group of 91̽»¨students led by Cecilia Bitz, an associate professor of atmospheric sciences, created the unusual exhibit that was on display Oct. 10-24 at the Seattle Art Museum’s Sculpture Garden near the downtown Seattle waterfront (see our story ).
The video was prepared by Harry Hayward and Feliz Efe of 91̽»¨Media Relations and Communications. The exhibit was built by Bitz and Paul Hezel, a graduate student in Atmospheric Sciences; Amy Cash, a graduate student in Oceanography; and Kristin Poinar, a graduate student in Earth and Space Sciences, in conjunction with Jackie White, the art museum’s environmental steward and a 91̽»¨graduate.
