Tara Brown loves to take pictures. Her job in Organization Development and Training is to coordinate events and run the recognition program for the 91̽»¨Medical Center, but she can be seen most days carrying her digital SLR camera with her, in hopes of catching a unique view of the campus. She is a frequent contributor to Community Photos.

So when Brown’s colleague Kathleen Torchia, a health care recruiter in 91̽»¨Medicine, offered her the opportunity to take a ride in Torchia’s husband’s private plane, she said yes immediately. Once airborne, Brown pulled out her trusty camera and began taking photos of everything she saw — including these lovely views of the campus, particularly Husky Stadium. Unless you count snapshots taken from the window of a commercial flight, it’s her first attempt at aerial photography.

“I really love photography and hope to do more with it in the future,” Brown said. She is currently a student in 91̽»¨Extension’s certificate program in photography.
