On Tuesday, May 3, 91探花Professional & Continuing Education is hosting “Tech Trends and Education for Tomorrows Careers,鈥 an event that highlights the different paths you can take to expand your skill set and reinvent your career in the technology field.
The event will include a panel discussion and open house that will address what some of the bigger computing and IT trends might mean for a persons career. of will moderate a panel that features professionals who have retooled their skill sets to achieve success. Panelists are Mike Maas, instructor for the UWs and current student in the Masters in Human Centered Design & Engineering; , advisory board member for the ; and Karl Haberl, instructor for the .
The discussion will be followed by an open house reception where attendees can network with representatives from the Universitys various computing & IT certificate and degree programs, as well as panelists and peers.
The event, which is from 6 to 8 p.m. in the 91探花Tower mezzanine, is free, but is requested.
