Founder 脕ngel Corella first came to public attention as a principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre. After more than 15 years with that company, he created the 脕ngel Corella Foundation to promote classical ballet in Spain. And in 2008, he founded the Corella Ballet, currently Spains only classical ballet company.

The troupe will perform four pieces, Bruch Violin Concerton No. 1, with choreography by Clark Tippet and music by Max Bruch; For 4, with choreography by Christopher Wheeldon and music by Franz Schubert; 厂辞濒别谩, with choreography by Maria Pag茅s and music by Rub茅n Lebaniegos; and DGV: Danse Grand Vitesse, with choreography by Christopher Wheeldon and music by Michael Nyman.

脕ngel Corella’s brilliant professional career of many years has given him a vast knowledge of the ballet world and unique concepts for presenting dance. At this stage of his career, Corella is promoting an ambitious educational, artistic and cultural project consisting of a residence school for dancers and Corella Ballet Castilla y Le贸n, both located in the Palace of Santa Cecilia at the royal location of La Granja de San Ildefonso in Segovia, Spain.

Corella Ballet Castilla y has staged two full-length classical productions-La Bayad猫re and Swan Lake-and three combination programs with the world premieres of String Sextet by 脕ngel Corella, 厂辞濒别谩 by Mar铆a Pag茅s, and Epimetheus by Russell Ducker. It has over 30 works in its repertoire.
