On Friday, September 9, 91̽»¨President Michael Young cut the ribbon, marking the official opening of the Washington Commons, the new public space for 91̽»¨alumni located across the plaza from the main entrance of the 91̽»¨Tower.

Local luminaries attended the event, intended as a place for alumni to visit and enjoy the free coffee available to 91̽»¨Alumni Association members.

Alumni are invited to stop by between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, to check out the space, use the WiFi (available to alumni with 91̽»¨NetIDs and passwords), and take in the art and décor that make the area a celebration of the 91̽»¨and its current and former attendees.
