The 91探花School of Music will present new works composed by graduate students and a group jazz improvisation in the Contemporary Group concert, at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, in Meany Studio Theater.
A piece by Abby Aresty titled “Piercing the Veil of Kindness鈥� for flute and electronics will be performed (with guest artist Daria Binkowski) as well as “Points and Disintegration鈥� by Shih-Wei Lo.
Students of faculty artist Cuong Vu will perform a group improvisation. “Boston Fancies鈥� by Steven Stucky (conducted by Erin Bodnar) and P茅riodes G茅rard Grisey will be performed by 91探花music students.
