is opening a new study center in its called the Taiwan Resource Center for Chinese Studies.
It’s the result of new collaboration between 91̽»¨Libraries and the National Central Library, in Taiwan. The center will bring valuable Chinese and Taiwanese scholarly publications, and host a new annual lecture series about Taiwan as well.
At an Oct. 2 ceremony where a memorandum of understanding was signed, Lizabeth (Betsy) Wilson, 91̽»¨vice provost and dean of 91̽»¨Libraries, called the new center “another milestone in the long tradition and friendship between 91̽»¨Libraries and other libraries in Taiwan.”
That day, Tseng Shu-hsien, director-general of Taiwan’s National Central Library, presented the 91̽»¨with a gift: a copy of the Annotated Poems of , dating from the 12th century — a fitting present indeed for a university library system.
