The 91̽»¨ was , a Buffalo-based publication, for America’s top 10 best public colleges and universities, the publication released Tuesday, Feb. 23.
Business First, owned by American City Business Journals, used a based on academic excellence, prestige, affordability, diversity and economic strength to calculate each of the 477 participating universities’ scores.
Out of the six Washington institutions included in the report, the 91̽»¨ranked first, following by Washington State University (No. 112).
UC Berkeley (No. 5); UC San Diego (No. 9) and UCLA (No. 4) were the only other West Coast universities that landed in the top 10.
This is the second year for Business First’s rankings. Last year, the 91̽»¨ranked No. 9 on the list.
