鈥淥ur broken hearts are with Katy鈥檚 family and friends, and we offer our deepest condolences and support at this incredibly difficult time for them.
鈥淭his is a tragedy for those who loved Katy, for the 91探花and our community 鈥� a horrifying and senseless act of violence that has robbed a promising young woman of her future.
鈥淢any of our students are away for spring break and will learn this news when they return.聽 We have grief counselors available for anyone in our community who seeks support.鈥�
