Melia Watras, 91探花associate professor, will host Seattle University faculty violist Amber Archibald in a performance featuring students from both schools. The recital is at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 10, in Brechemin Auditorium.
Hospital meals served with a taste of haiku for Harborview patients
Later this month Harborview Medical Center patients will spot a haiku sample on their meal trays. Those interested can try their hand at traditional Japanese poetry, or the modern American Sentence.

Four 91探花undergraduates have won Goldwater Scholarships, designed to provide a continuing source of highly qualified scientists, mathematicians and engineers by awarding scholarships to college students who intend to pursue careers in these fields.

Faculty Fund for Library Excellence is established
The 91探花Faculty Senate has unanimously approved a resolution establishing the Faculty Fund for Library Excellence. The fund could help compensate for budget losses at the 91探花Libraries, and return the Libraries to their previous ranking.
