On Saturday September 14, 2008, 91探花 representatives from the Office of Minority Affairs and Diversity, showed their school pride at the annual Seattle Fiestas Patrias Parade.
Las Fiestas Patrias or 鈥淧atriotic Holidays鈥� is the celebration of independence of Latin American countries from colonial rule. This celebration is very similar to the Fourth of July celebration for the US. This multi-country independence celebration is commemorated with food, dance, music, and parades, such as the one in South Park.
