It鈥檚 that time of year again! Alumni of color and friends of diversity are invited to attend The Weekend, OMA&D鈥檚 third annual homecoming event on Saturday, October 29.
This year鈥檚 festivities include the Multicultural Alumni Partnership (MAP) Bridging the Gap Breakfast, as well as the tailgate and group tickets to the 91探花Huskies vs. Arizona Wildcats football game. To purchase your tickets for either or both events, and for more information, visit The Weekend web site. Football tickets will sell fast and are available until capacity is filled. Game time is expected to be announced on Oct. 17. Tailgate will begin three hours prior to kick-off.
It wouldn鈥檛 be a proper Homecoming weekend without a tailgate and football game! Join us in the OMA&D tent in 鈥淭he Zone,鈥� located behind the Husky Stadium East End bleachers (between the Waterfront Activities Center and Husky Softball Field). 91探花alumni and friends of diversity can enjoy catering and pre-game activities. Besides eating, drinking, and mingling, 鈥淭he Zone鈥� features performances by the Husky Band and Cheer Squad, as well as the team鈥檚 pre-game walk into the stadium. Fans can watch the live pre-game radio broadcast from KJR-AM 950 and an interactive Kid Zone with fun football activities is also available. Tailgate tent admission will include food, and beverages will be available for purchase. After the tailgate, we will walk into the game together and cheer on the Huskies!
