Our first summer program, 鈥淕ardens of Rome: Art, Nature and Urban Space鈥 runs June 28鈥揓uly 4, 2026 (Summer-A Term 2026). This course delves into Rome鈥檚 gardens as living spaces where art, and landscape intersect. Through visits to ancient sites, Renaissance villas, and modern parks, students explore how nature shape culture, power, and daily life in Rome. Our second program, “Hidden Rome: Neighborhoods, Culture, and Daily Life”, runs July 5-11, 2026 (Summer-B Term 2026) and explores Rome beyond the tourist center, engaging participants with its lesser-known neighborhoods, local traditions, everyday rhythms and contemporary cultural life through walks, discussions and shared experiences. Complementing these experiences, Italian language sessions for both beginners and intermediate/advanced students are included, as well as hands-on activities like cooking classes and cinematic explorations of Rome in film to ensure a well-rounded, immersive educational journey. Since these courses run consecutively, you may participate in both!
