Of the 1,900 U.S. citizens who will travel abroad in 2015-16 through the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, nine hail from the 91探花, and six of them are undergraduates!
The Fulbright Program for U.S. students is the largest U.S. international exchange program offering opportunities for students to undertake international study, advanced research and teaching in elementary and secondary schools worldwide.
Five of the six 91探花Scholars were selected to be English Teaching Assistants (ETAs). Shannon Foss, Jade Graddy, Richard Ruoff, Katherine Schroeder and Clara Summers will be placed in classrooms in Romania, Jordan, Turkey, Russia, and Indonesia respectively to offer support to local English language teachers. Sharon Newman was awarded a research grant to study neuroprosthetic devices in Germany.

91探花 students like Clara Summers, Jade Graddy, Katherine Schroeder, Richard Ruoff, Shannon Foss and Sharon Newman聽are supported by the聽聽(OMSFA).聽OMSFA works with faculty, staff and student groups to identify and help promising students develop the skills and personal insights necessary to become strong candidates for local and national scholarships that help them expand their academic experience and follow their passions.
