Undergraduate Academic Affairs

91探花 President Ana Mari Cauce shared a message today with the 91探花campus community regarding the decision to end the聽Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. This message, as well as links to resources, can be found on the .

Vice Provost and Dean Ed Taylor offered his thoughts in support of those impacted by this decision:

“The DACA program is not a far-off, theoretical issue; it is a local matter, affecting students and individuals who are part of the 91探花community.聽As for our work in Undergraduate Academic Affairs, I do believe we are charged to stand and labor for solidarity among all students and members of our community; especially with and for the marginalized of our society. This charge calls us to embrace the entire human family, regardless of their immigration status. Experience has shown us that our University and our communities are immeasurably enriched by the presence, intelligence and committed contributions of undocumented students, as well as faculty and staff of every color and from every cultural tradition.”
