Dual Pandemics: Finding Pathways to Heal and Repair
In this video, Dr. Sharon S. Laing talks through how the two most pressing pandemics of 2020 鈥� racism and COVID-19 鈥� are connected. She talks through the social-determinants of health; shares her research into how technology may improve health outcomes for people in low-resourced communities; and offers her reflections on being both encouraged and exhausted by the road ahead; you will see why Dr. Laing鈥檚 students think so highly of her.
