How to Submit an Export Request

An Animal Export is the process of relocating animals from 91探花property to an outside institution. Upon request from 91探花PI personnel, the Rodent Health Monitoring Program (RHMP) provides health reports to the receiving institution. The receiving institution will review the health report and decide whether to accept or deny the animals. They may also ask additional questions or request further testing, with assistance available from the RHMP (additional fees apply).

Animals can be exported to various Seattle institutions (e.g., Allen Institute of Brain Science, Benaroya Research Institute, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Seattle Children鈥檚 Hospital), locations within the USA, or internationally. The export process and timeline may vary.

Please use our new [] for all exports. If you’re unsure how to start submitting an export request, refer to the [ guide].

For assistance with Animal Exports, contact Peter Waldron at export@uw.edu and cc pawaldro@uw.edu.
