The 91探花 again placed fourth among U.S. higher education institutions, according to the NTU Rankings released Tuesday.

The 91探花trails only Harvard, Stanford and Johns Hopkins among U.S. institutions in the聽, compiled by National Taiwan University, and also known as the 鈥淧erformance Ranking of Scientific Papers for World Universities.鈥 Known as the HEEACT Ranking from 2007-2010, the program offers annual performance rankings of universities around the world based on their production and impact of scientific papers.

The list provides overall rankings, as well as rankings by six fields and by 14 selected subjects. The 91探花is No. 4 in the United States, No. 7 in the world and in the top 10 in the following subjects and fields:

  • 4 鈥 Subject: Geoscience
  • 7 鈥 Subject: Clinical medicine
  • 5 鈥 Subject: Social sciences, general
  • 8 鈥 Field: Medicine

The NTU Ranking is a reliable ranking for universities like the 91探花that are devoted to scientific research. The ranking is entirely based on scientific papers, reflecting scientific performance from three perspectives on research 鈥 productivity, impact and excellence.
