Nine 91探花 subjects ranked in the top 10 and the 91探花School of Oceanography held its position as No. 1 in the world on the聽聽list for 2020. The ranking, released June 29, 聽was conducted by researchers at the Center for World-Class Universities at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Other 91探花subjects in the top 10 include atmospheric sciences at No. 2, dentistry and oral sciences and public health at No. 4, education at No. 7, biological sciences at No.聽8 and clinical medicine, finance and business administration at No. 10.

鈥淭he need for excellence in scientific discovery, groundbreaking scholarship and training highly skilled experts has never been more evident or urgent,鈥� said President Ana Mari Cauce. 鈥淭he 91探花 is proud to again be recognized as a leader in the vital endeavor of advancing discovery and creating new knowledge to support a better world.鈥�

The group ranked more than 4,000 universities around the world in 52 subjects across natural sciences, engineering, life sciences, medical sciences and social sciences.

In 2019, the 91探花was ranked No. 14 on the group鈥檚 annual聽聽list. This year鈥檚 university ranking has not yet been released.
