The PSO Legislative Committee is happy to share that your state legislative Town Halls are back. Many are in person, but some allow for participation via phone. Town Hall information is available using the links below.
On March 12th, representatives from the Office of State Relations, 91探花Medicine, and Policy, Planning & State Operations shared insights on the legislative session. The state revenue forecast comes out on March 18, 2025, which will play a significant role in determining where the budget writers are for the upcoming biennium. The first round of budget proposals will likely be coming out soon and may begin with proposals focused solely on cuts, with new revenue options introduced later. It seems that no cuts are being ruled out, including furloughs, but more will be known when the first budget proposals are released.
