Student Aid Tuition and Fees Costs

罢丑别听(08) Tuition and Fees line is used for tuition costs.

Line Setup

罢丑别听Setup聽modal displays the聽Description. The specific sub-object code for Tuition and Fees (08-05) will have automatically pre-populated.

罢丑别听Cascade Entries聽checkbox will be checked if 鈥淐ascade entries on non-salary items鈥� was selected.

础苍测听Notes聽associated with this line item will display.

Update Periods

Values entered for the聽Description聽and the聽 91探花Sub-Object Code聽display for reference.

The name of the period and its date range will display at the top of the period column.

The following values display for each period:

  • Academic Quarter Tuition Rate
  • Number of Academic Quarters
  • Academic Tuition Amount
  • Summer Quarter Tuition Amount
  • Increase % (Academic & Summer)
  • Total Tuition

The overall total for the line item displays in the Summary ($) column at the far right.

Student Aid (Tuition) Update Periods

The Student Aid (08-00) line item links directly to personnel setup in the (01) Salaries and Wages section of the budget. It may be used for specific personnel sub-object codes (33, 34, 43, 44, 51-54, 91-94).

This page presents the information for all of the periods for the chosen person. The values are from the Salary and Wages section.

The information displayed here is not directly editable.

  • Quarterly Tuition Rate displays the value for this person, such as: Standard Campus.
  • Number of Quarters displays the value entered for the particular period when the person was added in the Salary and Wages section.
  • Increase % (percent) is the percentage rate that applies to the Quarterly Tuition Rate.
  • Total Tuition is the dollar amount of the tuition.
