Health
- Consider getting a pre-travel health consultation at .
- Review CDC in your destination.
- Understand your international health insurance coverage and options.
Safety
- Review and understand the UW’s international emergency assistance resources and procedures before you travel.
- Download and activate International SOS, including the app. This can be done through your travel registration portal.
- Make sure that emergency contact information is accessible while you are away. This should include the nearest embassy and the 91探花Global Emergency line.
Security
- Be informed. Learn about your destination and review any .
- Enroll in the from the U.S. Department of State. This allows you to receive important information from the U.S. Embassy or Consulate about local safety and security conditions in addition to helping the U.S. Embassy contact you in an emergency.
- Register your travel with the 91探花Office of Global Affairs. This allows the 91探花to provide timely support and resources in the event of an emergency.
